| Imaging cytometric analysis of apoptotic cells by Annexin V PI staining showed that apoptosis in HaCaT cells was increased after everolimus treatment in a dose dependent manner. Moreover, the percentage of apoptotic cells was enhanced by stattic pretreatment. These results indicate that stattic pretreat ment enhances the apoptotic effects of everolimus in HaCaT cells.
