Every player is allowed to choose a path before creating character in Wildstar online. It’s well known that there are 4 paths in Wildstar online, different paths have different feature, each path has its particular feature, and players can only choose one of them. Explorer Skills:
All the skills of Explorer are designed for those players who crazy on exploring Wildstar Online alone. The advantage of these skills is they can make you go somewhere that other players may not allow to go, and enjoy the scenery that other players cannot see. However, it’s a big challenge to complete the quests for the path. In order to fulfill it, you sometimes need to try all kinds of jump. Compared with other 3 paths, Explorer seems to take more time to complete a quest, but it also brings you more fun than other paths. Among those skills, there is a skill named "Air Brakes" which is very helpful for PVP or PVE in the field. For example, when you are chased after by an enemy, you can use this skill to jump over the wall easily.

Scientist Skills:
Parties would be very welcome if you choose Scientist, because Scientist has "Summon Group" skill, with this skill, players are able to summon the whole group. If you and your party member are in the same map, it's very useful for boss hunting or PVP. Scientist at the same time has "Create Portal-Captial city" skill, this skill can help players open a portal to city, so that players are able to teleport to city and teleport back.

Settler Skills:
Different with other paths, Settler has 4 skills. All of these skills can help players to make wildstar platinum. When you are in an instance or in the field, you can sell items, even receive emails. What’s more interesting is that when you are crafting, you can summon tools for the crafting.

Soldier Skills:
The skills designed for soldiers are not available during PVP, but they are powerful for PVE.
